Scarborough State School Curriculum
At Scarborough State School we follow the Australian Curriculum. All students from Prep to Year 6 will participate in the following key learning areas: English, Maths, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, Technology (Digital and Design), The Arts (Music, Dance, Drama, Media Arts and Visual Arts), Health and Physical Education and Languages (Japanese).
These learning areas are organised and planned using the Australian Curriculum. Students also participate in Library lessons led by our Teacher Librarian.
In years 3 and 5 students will participate in NAPLAN (The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy).
